Local Equipment, Scalable Crews, & Dedicated Oversight
Our Fort Myers facility houses one of the area’s largest inventories of structural drying and dehumidification equipment. We can scale crews and resources for a flooded home, commercial property, or widespread hurricane damage, drawing on our response experience after Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Michael.
Every flood project includes defined support and accountability:
- Dedicated project management: A Project Manager coordinates the work from assessment through completion.
- Daily project auditing: A Project Auditor monitors progress, addresses concerns, and verifies satisfaction before closeout.
- Multilingual guidance: Team members assist customers in English, Spanish, and Lao.
- Workmanship warranties: We provide a three-year warranty on interior repairs and a one-year warranty on mold remediation projects.
How We Restore Flood-Damaged Properties
Removing visible water is only the first step. Our full-service process addresses contaminated materials, hidden moisture, structural damage, and the repairs needed to make the property functional again.
Damage Assessment & Water Extraction
We assess affected areas and gather evidence for project records and insurance documentation. Moisture mapping and thermal imaging reveal water that has spread beyond visible surfaces. Our crews then extract standing water and begin mitigation using equipment from our local inventory.
Contaminated Material Removal
Under the IICRC S500 standard, floodwater entering from outside is generally treated as Category 3, or black water, because it is considered grossly contaminated. Drywall, insulation, baseboards, flooring, and cabinets can wick this water above the visible flood line. We determine which materials must be removed and which may be dried in place.
Structural Drying & Reconstruction
After extraction and material removal, we use structural drying and dehumidification to address moisture retained within the building. Because Fort Myers heat and humidity can accelerate mold growth, prompt drying is critical to the recovery timeline. Once mitigation is complete, we handle the interior repairs required to restore the property.

Why Fort Myers Properties Face Elevated Flood Risk
Tropical rainfall, hurricane-driven storm surge, low-lying terrain, and overwhelmed drainage systems all contribute to local flooding. The Caloosahatchee River can carry storm surge inland, as Hurricane Ian demonstrated when water moved up the river and flooded streets and structures.
Year-round humidity creates another concern after the water recedes. Prompt extraction, dehumidification, and moisture assessment limit how long damp building materials remain in conditions that support mold growth.
Clear Documentation for Your Insurance Claim
We gather evidence and maintain comprehensive project documentation for insurance claims. As a preferred vendor for many carriers, we can coordinate with property owners and adjusters while moving the restoration through each documented stage.
Coverage decisions remain subject to the policy and insurance carrier. We provide organized records of the damage assessment and completed work, respond to relevant requests, and collaborate with insurance agencies, first responders, and community leaders during larger disasters.
