Every project receives a dedicated Project Manager and a separate Project Auditor. The Project Manager oversees the work, while the auditor serves as a project concierge who checks progress daily, addresses concerns, and verifies satisfaction before the job is considered complete.

Florida Mold Assessment & Remediation Roles

Florida generally requires licensed professionals when mold assessment or remediation involves an area larger than 10 square feet. A mold assessor evaluates the origin, location, identity, and extent of the growth. A mold remediator removes, cleans, sanitizes, demolishes, or otherwise treats contaminated materials.

State rules separate these roles. An assessor can’t perform remediation on a structure that person assessed within the previous 12 months, and the reverse restriction also applies. We hold Florida licenses for mold testing and mold remediation, as well as restoration and repair work.

What the Mold Remediation Process Involves

The scope of each project depends on the affected materials, moisture conditions, and extent of contamination. Work may involve containment, HEPA filtration and air scrubbing, removal or cleaning of affected materials, structural drying, and dehumidification.

A mold project commonly includes:

• Moisture source identification: Checking for plumbing leaks, roof damage, HVAC condensation, flooding, or persistent indoor humidity.
• Containment: Separating the work area before disturbing contaminated materials.
• Remediation: Cleaning or removing materials according to the established project scope.
• Drying and repairs: Addressing remaining moisture and completing necessary restoration or reconstruction.
• Project documentation: Gathering photographs, records, and other evidence that may support an insurance claim.
